Inauguration of NMR infrastructure & i4HB Meeting with Researchers
This meeting was the second time that researchers from the i4HB consortium got together, which includes our research unit, UCIBIO, and the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB) and the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering - Microsystems and Nanotechnology (INESC-MN).
This was also an opportunity to inaugurate the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Infrastructure, coordinated by Eurico Cabrita, leader of the (Bio)molecular Structure and Interactions by NMR Lab at UCIBIO-NOVA.
The 4 Thematic Lines of i4HB were presented by researchers of the associated laboratory:
Platforms for Drug Development and Discovery (TL1); Advanced Diagnostics and Therapies (TL2); Human Health and Environmental Safety (TL3) and Bioresources Valorization and Bioproducts Production (TL4).
UCIBIO integrates the approved Associate Laboratory, Institute for Health and Bioeconomy, i4HB, together with two other research units, Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB) and Institute for System Engineering and Computers-Microsystems and Nanotechnologies (INESC.MN), generating synergies to boost the capacities for success in competitive areas of research and innovation.
